What is model UN?
University students attend and each represent a particular country, adopting the policies and beliefs of that country. They then join in simulated committee sessions of the United Nations with students representing other countries and debate a topic of current international concern, with the purpose of negotiating a resolution. However, state intervention under the R2P framework often leaves war-torn states incapacitated and bereft of critical infrastructures.
